Who Sponsors Iconauta?

Welcome aboard the Iconaus, the greatest YouTube channel dedicated to Silent Cinema. I am Piergiorgio, filmmaker and film historian, pilot of this vessel journeying between the origins of the "Seventh Art" and the advent of sound. For nearly twenty years, I have been curating digital editions of public domain films, enriching them with new soundtracks, special features, and critical analysis to restore the original splendor of these silent treasures. Because the history of cinema is not just the history of an art form: it is the history of all of us—of how we imagine, perceive, and narrate the world. In this ocean of images that submerges us every day, History is the rudder that helps us find our course in the present. Join the crew. Whether as a pilot or a passenger, it matters little; what counts is that we navigate together. Critiques, comments, and collaborations are — and always will be — welcome on board.
